ABOUT
I am a composer, musician and producer based in Turku, Finland. My musical career started in 1990s by being active in hardcore and punk scene. Before and around the millennium I became more and more interested in electronic and experimental music. Nowadays I play mainly synthesizers and bass guitar. Through the years I have been active in groups like Brazilian influenced thrash core band Força Macabra and kosmische Musik group E-Musikgruppe Lux Ohr, but working at the same time with different projects and my own solo electronic music.
My current musical activities in 2024 are dub/reggae group Dubsetters, which collaborates with some of the most interesting new and old Jamaican reggae-artists. The first releases are out now on my own label Dub & Sound International and distributed worldwide by Juno. In 2024 I also continue playing with Força Macabra and working with my first "solo" album including interesting musical collaborations.
During my musical career I have released over a dozen albums and numerous other releases with different groups on both Finnish and international labels and played hundreds of concerts both in Finland and internationally. I’ve been also curating and organizing concerts since early 1990s.
I'm member of Teosto (A copyright organisation for music creators, composers and publishers), Gramex (The collective management organisation for recorded music in Finland) and Muusikkojen liitto (Musicians' Union).
